Guilford Green Foundation envisions a Greater Greensboro with a thriving LGBTQIA community that elevates all. To that end, our mission is to courageously unite and strengthen our entire community by strategically advancing LGBTQIA initiatives through our annual granting process.
This year, the Guilford Green Foundation will make three impact grants of up to $10,000 to organizations or projects to benefit the LGBTQIA community. Proposals are due June 2. Grants will be awarded June 26.
We are looking for programming in the following three areas: youth and families, the elderly, and the trans community.
Programming can be broad-based, such as building leadership capacity and securing rights for the community; affirming and celebrating identity; ensuring safety, well-being, and dignified treatment; eliminating discrimination and bias; or meeting unmet needs. GGF is also able to provide meeting space for programs up to 25 people.
Eligible applicants are those that have 501c3 Non-profit status as described by the IRS and who operate in the Piedmont Region counties of: Alamance, Davidson, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph and Rockingham.
To be eligible for consideration, all prospective grant funded projects must have an LGBTQ component or serve the LGBTQ community in some capacity. Applicants must not have defaulted on a previously granted GGF Project Grant.
