About:  The Guilford Nonprofit Consortium is a collaborative of nonprofit organizations in Guilford County, North Carolina, that fosters mutual assistance and support within the nonprofit community to create a more efficient and effective nonprofit sector.   They do this by educating, collaborating, networking, recognizing and celebrating

Cost:  $50/annual fee – very minimal cost to attend workshops and programs.

 

National Council of Nonprofits

About:  The National Council of Nonprofits is a trusted resource and advocate for America’s charitable nonprofits. Through their powerful network of State Associations and 25,000-plus members – the nation’s largest network of nonprofits – they serve as a central coordinator and mobilizer to help nonprofits achieve greater collective impact in local communities across the country. They identify emerging trends, share proven practices, and promote solutions that benefit charitable nonprofits and the communities they serve.

NC Center For Nonprofits

About: The N.C. Center for Nonprofits is your organization. Working together, we can provide your organization with vital cost-saving opportunities up-to-date public policy and advocacy information, specialized education and training programs, information on nonprofit trends and best practices, and connections with nonprofit colleagues throughout the state.

Cost: $75-$1,200 depending on budget size

 

Nonprofit Resource Center at the Central Library in Downtown Greensboro

About:  Discover information about fund-raising, grant writing, and start-up and management of nonprofit organizations at the Nonprofit Resources Center (NRC), located at the Central Library. Contact the Central Library at 336-335-5430 for updates and a workshop schedule.

Also, the Greensboro Public Library is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center. As a member of this nationwide network, we are able to provide free public access to Foundation Directory Online Professional and a wealth of useful resources to organizations and individuals.
